The wife of one of the co-accused in the trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has called on the federal government to release her husband.
The lady identified as Charity Ishinwa, whose husband, Bright ‘Chimezie’ Ishinwa was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) over a year, said;
My husband is in detention for one year plus; they don’t want to release him to us. He has families, he has children; my children have not been to school since he was arrested.
I need his dead body, if they have killed him, they should give me his dead body, let me go an bury him well.
The Nigerian army and the DSS they barged into his room and took him away since one year plus. They have not even brought him to court.
Whatever crime he committed, even if he killed someone he needs to be judged,
Since last year August, I and my four kids have not seen my husband, everyday they are seeking and asking of their father. Is it easy for me?
